Seth Gelman

Seth Gelman joined First Eagle in February 2023 as Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer. In his role, Seth is responsible for the implementation and oversight of the global compliance program. Prior to joining First Eagle, he spent over 5 years as the Chief Compliance Officer at Insight Investment North America and 8 years as the Chief Compliance Officer and Regulatory Counsel at Brookfield Asset Management public securities and registered fund businesses in the US and United Kingdom. Seth has over 20 years compliance experience and is a frequent speaker at industry seminars and conferences. Seth holds a BA from the University of Florida and a JD from the University of Miami School of Law.
