Bridget Young

Bridget Young is a director and senior credit analyst on the High Yield Municipal Team, where she supports investment decisions analyzing health care and charter school bonds. Prior to joining First Eagle in September 2024, she was an associate portfolio manager at Lord Abbett, where she managed a mutual fund that invested across various asset classes including leveraged loans, high-yield bonds and derivatives and was previously a research analyst covering distressed analysis and municipal credit research. Before that, she was a research analyst at Morgan Stanley in municipal lending and counterparty risk management. Bridget’s career began in municipal finance with CIFG and Moody’s Investors Service, where she developed a strong foundation in credit analysis and municipal risk management. Bridget earned a BA in Anthropology, summa cum laude, from the University of Memphis and an MPA in finance from New York University.
