Tim Greatorex

Tim Greatorex is global head of Institutional for First Eagle Investments. He is responsible for business development with institutions and consultants worldwide, managing the institutional sales and client service teams and playing a key role in product design and structuring across asset classes. Tim is also co-president of Napier Park Global Capital, a position he has held since 2020. He became part of First Eagle in 2022 upon the firm’s acquisition of Napier Park Global Capital, which he had joined in 2015. Previously, Tim worked in Citigroup’s Treasury as chief investment officer and head of Citi Treasury Investments, managing a $250 billion liquidity and investment portfolio across rates, mortgages and credit while also having responsibility for Citigroup’s US pension plan. Before that, he spent more than 15 years in alternative asset management at Citi, where he focused on product and business development and ultimately became co-head of the group responsible for structured credit products. Prior to Citi, Tim was responsible for capital markets and derivative activity at British Gas, and he began his career at Midland Montagu in the assessment and management of market risk. He earned a first-class honors degree in economics from Loughborough University in the UK.
