Telmo Martins

Telmo Martins is managing director and chief compliance officer for First Eagle Alternative Credit, responsible for leading FEAC’s compliance efforts, including working with the compliance, legal and risk teams as well as other control functions. Prior to joining First Eagle in December 2022, Telmo spent over two years in Northern Trust’s asset management business in Chicago as chief compliance officer for its mutual fund complex, among other compliance responsibilities. Before that, he spent over 13 years at AllianceBernstein in New York in various compliance roles helping to lead the compliance program for investment vehicles including the registered and alternative funds both in the US and outside the US. Telmo earned a BS with a concentration in finance from Rutgers University.
